I am not sure but my best guess is that there was 88 questions on the test. If you multiply .98 by 88 (.98*88) it should equal 86.24, which rounded is 86. I am not sure but that is my best guess, I do not know where that 88 came from though, it just popped in my mind. Hope it helps! :)
