Similarities

1) both are testable

2) both are Falsifiable

Hypothesis

1) Is based on Suggestion, possibility, projection or prediction, but the result is uncertain.

2) the data is Usually based on very limited data

Theories

1) is based on Evidence, verification, repeated testing, wide scientific consensus
