The area of the rectangular blanket is = 24 square feet

The length of the blanket is = 6 feet

Let width of the blanket be = x

Area = length * width

[tex]24=6*x[/tex]

[tex]x=\frac{24}{6}=4[/tex]

Hence, the blanket is 4 feet wide.
