First way is create an equation like this:
[tex]0.37(27 \frac{3}{5}+ \frac{15}{9}) [/tex]
and calculating it.
Second way is to find 37% of each number and then add it
[tex]0.37*27 \frac{3}{5} [/tex] + [tex]0.37* \frac{15}{9} [/tex]
In both cases the result is 10.829
