I think....is the anti-slavery movement because it achieved its most concrete success during the Civil War, when Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation, which freed all slaves in territory then in rebellion, and later when Congress passed the 13th Amendment, which abolished slavery in the United States.
