A diver is at -20 m. The ocean floor is at -135m. If the diver rises 3 m, how far will she be from the ocean floor?

She would be -118m away from the ocean floor.

The driver is now at -118m, you just to add 3 to-20 (= -17) an dfinally you only get the defferece between -135 and -17 ( -135-(-17) = -118 )
