The area of a rectangle is represented with the expression (18x-12) inches squared. The width of the rectangle is 6 inches. Write an expression that represents the length of the rectangle.

are equation for a rectangle is area = (width x length)

(18x - 12) = 6 x length
length = (18x - 12) / 6
length = 3x - 2
