Let's solve the inequality:

[tex]\begin{gathered} -5>5+\frac{x}{3} \\ -5-5>\frac{x}{3} \\ -10>\frac{x}{3} \\ -10\cdot3>x \\ -30>x \\ x<-30 \end{gathered}[/tex]

Therefore the solution for the inequality is:

[tex]x<-30[/tex]

In interval form this solution is written as:

[tex](-\infty,-30)[/tex]

This means that x has to be less than -30 for the inequality to be true.
