First you need to fill in the given information into slope intercept form, so y=mx+b. Filling in what you know it would be 8=5(2)+b then just solve it from there like you would a normal equation to find your answer for b. Then plug in the answer you get for b into the original equation. Is this helpful or do you need me to walk you through more steps?
