The equation of a best fit line is y = 6x + 9. Predict a value for y when x = 4.

You just fill in for x (which is 4), and then you just multiply 6 and 4. Then you take the answer to that plus 9, which will give you y. Which is 33.

So  
6(4) + 9 
24 + 9
y= 33
