If each block represents a 1 x 1 distance...

slope = m = Δy/Δx

We will subtract the y-value of the left point from the right point to get Δy, and we will subtract the x-value of the left point from the right point to get Δx

Δy = 3 - 1 = 2
Δx = 3 - (-3) = 6

slope = m = 2/6 = 1/3 (Answer 1)
